If anyone else would like a copy of The Mystical Cookbook, just send me an email. Please put KITCHENAID in the subject line. I receive a ton of emails, and I might miss it if you don't have KITCHENAID in the subject line.

The cookbook is really a text file of KitchenAid recipes. It is free to anyone on this forum. Most of the recipes come from the KA instruction manuals (they are all different), this forum, the old Canadian KA recipe site, and other sources. I can also send the file in .dvo format, if you have the Cook'n software. (Some recipe software can upload the text file too, so check out your software and see if it can do that).

Please be patient during the holiday season. It might take me a while to respond to your requests. If there are numerous requests, I will respond with group mailings to respond more quickly.

Thanks!

To get your Mystical Cookbook, email me directly. My email is:

mysticwhim@ameritech.net

BE SURE TO PUT KITCHENAID IN THE SUBJECT LINE.

(Not only does this keep most of the requests out of my spam folder, it also gets you a faster response.) If you email me using this KitchenAid email, don't worry about not being able to put KITCHENAID in the subject line - KA does it automatically.

I received a new computer for Mother's Day. Since then, I've organized my emails differently, so that it will be possible to easily see how many Mystical Cookbook files I'm sending out. I thought it would be fun to see the numbers for a change.

Now, I just started this reorganization in May, so this is only about two month's worth of counting. So it doesn't even take into account the huge rush I get in November, December, and January, nor does it take into account the fact that I've been doing this for a couple years, but I was still surprised at the numbers...

I've sent out over 300 Mystical Cookbooks in two months!

WOOOHOOO!!!

I can't wait to see what the numbers are next holiday season!

It's fun to see a glimpse of how large this KitchenAid family really is.

Happy Cooking!

I just got an interesting email request for The Mystical Cookbook. She said she read about the recipe file in knot.com. I had never heard of this, so I went exploring on the website. Sure enough, I found the KitchenAid reference. This is a website for brides-to-be, and they have blogs and message boards, information and resources, all geared for the future brides.

Here's what they said:

Kitchen Aid Ladies

From: curlygurl

Date: 7/27/2007 at 4:35 PMI too have coveted the Kitchen Aid (KA) mixer for a long, long time! I finally received one for my wedding in Apple Green (so cute!) only to have it stolen from the mail area of my building before I could even open it! Needless to say, I was not happy. In any event, I replaced it and am in love with it! When I first got it, I found this resource on the KA website and thought you all might be interested. It's an electronic file that she'll email you with a bunch of KA friendly recipes. Just email her at the address below:

mysticwhim@ameritech.net<
BR>
Don't forget to put KITCHENAID in the subject line

She's pretty responsive. I haven't tried many of the recipes, but I like the resource because it gives you a chance to play around with the mixer. Anyway, enjoy!

I didn't realize the cookbook had spread outside of the KitchenAid forum!

And here I thought I used up my fifteen minutes of fame the day I was born! (...made page three of the Chicago Sun Times, lol).

You know, I was kind of surprised at the volume of requests I've been getting. It's a lot more than the number of posters that seem to be active on the board. I've sent out over 375 since Mothers Day. I guess if I'm getting responses from outside the forum now, that can explain the large numbers.

I just changed the form letter that I send with the recipe file, so that it also includes a link to the forum now. Maybe I can recruit a few to the forum...?
