I want to invite you guys to come check out our newest endeavor.

We have added another form of "reaching out" to our fellow KitchenAid Stand Mixer lovers and started a new group on Facebook, hosted by "Yours Truly". Yes, good ol' KitchenAid Phoebe can now be found on KitchenAid's very own Facebook page.

We call our new group "I Love My KitchenAid Mixer!"

If you are already a Facebook member, just sign in then follow the link below:

http://www.facebook.com/s.php?n=-1&k=200000010&q=kitchenaid

If you aren't, just sign up at www.facebook.com, and join the fun! Once you have registered, just click on groups and pop KitchenAid in the search box, and there we are.

Who knows, you might just meet MORE KitchenAid "junkies"!

I think too is the issue of security and hackers, etc.
Plus this is a great resource for information why go with 2?
Social networking is very different than information gathering for education. Also you tend to have a "free for all" with facebook and chat groups whereas her on the forum it's clean and topic specific for the most part. That's why I am drawn to this in the first place.
I don't think I have the time to keep up now with a facebook.

The new Facebook group is just another way to bring people together. It can never take the place of our Forum, and we wouldn't want it too. Everyone at KitchenAid loves this place as much as you guys do!

I just wanted to let you know that KitchenAid has opened up another form of communication, and give you the information so you can feel free to check it out if you would like.

Don't think I'll be joining you on facebook either. Sorry.

I hope your new endeavor helps you reach out to additional people! So, I wish you success with it!

But, I must admit that I'm not really interested in joining another group. I like the security of this site. So, at this point, I am not planning on joining the other group.

I won't be joining facebook. I like our clean KA site. I think if there is a link on facebook directing many to this website, we all might need to roll up our sleeves to apply some elbow grease in preparation for some large stains.

You do a great job of keeping the forum spotless. I won't be joining the Facebook group. I have a Facebook account but dislike it greatly and only use it occasionally to keep in touch with far away family.

Good luck with the new endeavor. I visited Facebook while taking a technology course last year and my curiosity is satisfied. I will stay here. You will definitely get some younger members and that is exciting.

Sure why not? I can't promise I'll visit every day, like I do here, but I'll check in every once in a while.

Thanks!
